Anti-fraud

Traceability & audit logs: who did what, and when

“Who lowered this price? Who cancelled this invoice? Who granted this discount?” Left unanswered, these questions open the door to internal fraud and weaken your position during a tax audit. Swifto logs every sensitive action — creation, modification, price, discount, deletion — with the author, the time-stamp and the original value. A tamper-proof history that protects you.

  • Change log: every document created or modified is traced with its author and the exact time.
  • Price & discount log: every price cut or discount granted is recorded and attributed to a user.
  • Administration log: permission changes and sensitive settings are recorded, to hold teams accountable.
  • Tamper-proof history: reliable proof in case of a tax audit, dispute or suspected fraud.

Change log

Every invoice created or edited is traced: who, when, and what changed. No more anonymous changes behind management's back.

Price & discount log

Every price cut or discount granted is attributed to a user. You spot suspicious margin gaps at a glance.

Administration log

Permission grants, changes to tax settings or configuration: every administrative action is recorded and time-stamped.

Sales log

Cancellations, credit notes, payment collections: full tracking of the sales cycle to explain every discrepancy and reconcile with no grey areas.

Where many tools stop at “the operation happened,” Swifto answers “who did it and why” — a level of fine-grained traceability that most competitors don't offer, for complete peace of mind during an audit.

Frequently asked questions

Accounting & compliance — your questions

Yes. Swifto natively handles Tunisian VAT (19, 13, 7 and 0%), the fiscal stamp and withholding tax. Taxes are configurable and applied automatically to sales and purchase documents.
Yes. Swifto generates exports for your accounting firm from journals and documents, avoiding re-entry and smoothing the monthly collaboration with your accountant.
Yes. Every journal entry is linked to its supporting document (invoice, payment collection, payment) and kept with a tamper-proof history, which makes audits and reconciliations easier.
No. Journal entries flow automatically from your management operations (sales, purchasing, payment collections). Your teams work as usual and your accountant finds structured, traceable journals.
Swifto keeps audit logs that record every sensitive action: creating or modifying an invoice, lowering a price, granting a discount, cancellation, changing permissions. For each operation, you see the author and the exact date and time. It's a key tool to hold teams accountable and fight internal fraud.
Yes. The history of operations and changes is tamper-proof and time-stamped: you have reliable proof to justify every journal entry, explain a credit note or a cancellation, and approach a tax audit or a dispute with peace of mind. It's a level of fine-grained traceability that many tools don't offer.
Yes. Swifto includes general accounting compliant with the Tunisian chart of accounts (NCT). Journal entries are generated automatically in double entry (debit = credit) from your sales and purchase invoices, payment collections, payments and payroll. General ledger, trial balance, journals, fiscal years with closing and opening balances are maintained continuously.
Yes. From the month's declared invoices, Swifto automatically computes the line items of the monthly return: output VAT, deductible VAT, carried-forward VAT credit, VAT payable, withholding tax, TFP, FOPROLOS, TCL and stamp duty. You can adjust manually with a mandatory justification, lock the return, print it in the expected format and record the payment, which generates the cash disbursement.
Yes. Your teams work as usual on sales, purchasing, payment collections and payments: every operation generates the corresponding journal entry, balanced and linked to its supporting document. A correction is made by reversal — a validated entry is never deleted, which preserves the audit trail.
No. General accounting is an optional module of your subscription, available on the Premium and Diamant plans. It covers the pre-configured Tunisian chart of accounts (NCT), double-entry accounting, the purchase, sales, bank, cash, payroll and miscellaneous journals, fiscal years and accounting periods, closing with carry-forward of opening balances, the general ledger, the general and subsidiary trial balances, and the monthly tax return (DMI). See pricing and options.
Yes. Every customer and every supplier can be given its own accounting account from its record. Automatically generated entries then use that account instead of the generic one defined by the accounting scheme, provided it remains consistent with that scheme. Otherwise Swifto falls back to the scheme account: a configuration mistake never stops your invoicing.
Yes. Swifto can replay the documents already recorded in the current fiscal year — sales invoices, purchase invoices, customer payment collections and supplier payments — to rebuild your entries from the beginning of the year. A simulation mode reports the number of documents involved before a single entry is created. Processing runs document by document and is idempotent: you can interrupt it, resume it or run it again without ever creating a duplicate. Documents falling within an already closed period are rejected and listed in the report. Payroll is not part of this replay.

General accounting

Real general accounting, double-entry

Beyond fiscal journals, Swifto keeps complete general accounting compliant with the Tunisian chart of accounts (NCT): account classes 1 to 7, customer (411) and supplier (401) accounts, VAT. Journal entries are generated automatically — debit equals credit — from your invoices, payment collections, payments and payroll. Zero double entry, your statements ready without waiting for the close.

  • Double-entry postings generated automatically from operations (sales, purchasing, payment collections, payroll).
  • General ledger & trial balance continuously up to date, with Purchases, Sales, Bank, Cash, Payroll and Miscellaneous journals.
  • Fiscal years with automatic closing and opening balances from one year to the next.
  • Reversal rather than deletion: you correct without ever deleting a validated entry — the audit trail stays intact.

General accounting is an optional module of your subscription, available on the Premium and Diamant plans. See pricing.

Third-party accounts

A dedicated account for each customer and each supplier

Your key accounts deserve better than a line buried in a generic account. From a customer or supplier record, assign it its own accounting account: automatically generated entries immediately use it instead of the account defined by the scheme. You get fine-grained subsidiary tracking, third party by third party, without typing a single entry by hand.

  • Assigned from the record of the customer or supplier, in seconds.
  • Picked up automatically by sales, purchase, customer payment collection and supplier payment entries.
  • Consistency check against the accounting scheme: an inconsistent account is never used in its place.
  • No operational standstill: in case of a mismatch, Swifto falls back to the scheme account and the document still goes out.

A misconfigured setting must never block an invoice: that principle runs through the whole module.

Fiscal year catch-up

Starting mid-year? Rebuild the fiscal year from its beginning

Activating accounting in April should not condemn you to re-entering three months of documents, nor to leaving a gap in your fiscal year. Swifto replays the documents already recorded since the start of the year and generates the matching entries, in the right journal and linked to their supporting document.

  • Scope of the replay: sales invoices, purchase invoices, customer payment collections and supplier payments of the current fiscal year.
  • Simulation first: the number of documents involved is reported to you before a single entry is created.
  • Document-by-document and idempotent: you can interrupt, resume or run it again without ever creating a duplicate.
  • Closed periods respected: documents falling within a closed period are rejected and listed in the report — you decide whether to reopen them.

Payroll is not part of this replay: it is posted from your payslips, month by month.

Optional module

Accounting: a module you switch on the day you need it

General accounting is not part of the Swifto core: it is an optional module at 49 TND excl. tax per month, available on the Premium and Diamant plans. You invoice, purchase and collect payments first; the day you decide to keep your books in the same tool, you switch it on — without changing software or re-importing your data.

General accounting

Pre-configured Tunisian chart of accounts (NCT) and double-entry accounting, with the purchase, sales, bank, cash, payroll and miscellaneous journals.

Fiscal years, closing & statements

Fiscal years and accounting periods, closing with carry-forward of opening balances, general ledger, general and subsidiary trial balances.

Automatic entries

Generated from your sales and purchase invoices, customer payment collections, supplier payments and payroll, through configurable accounting schemes: no account number is hard-coded in the software.

Monthly tax return

VAT broken down by rate, fiscal stamp, TFP, FOPROLOS, TCL, withholding taxes and carried-forward VAT credit, with justified adjustments, locking and printing.
