Logs manual
The logs answer a single question: who did what, when? Logins, data changes, price changes, invoice controls, terminal movements — every sensitive action is tracked and available for audit and internal control.
Overview
The Logs module gathers Swifto's traceability registers. Unlike other modules, nothing here is created manually: the system automatically records events (a user logging in, a data change, a price change on an order…) and the logs exist only to let you view them. It is the reference tool for audit, internal control and dispute resolution.
Business goal
- Know who performed an action
- Know when (date & time)
- Reconstruct a record's history
- Detect an anomaly or fraud
Target audience
- Administrators — oversee activity
- Management / control — internal audit
- Accounting — price & invoice control
Read-only by nature
The logs are view-only. No line can be deleted or edited by the user — this is what guarantees their evidentiary value.
Access and navigation
Left-hand side menu: Logs. The submenu lists all the registers; depending on your rights, some are hidden. The three logs always offered are System logins, Sales log and Modification log.
Conditional logs
Many logs (pricing, invoice control, movements, assets…) only appear if the corresponding option is enabled for your company and if your profile allows you to read it.
Activity log
The Modification log is the central activity register: it records every creation, edit or deletion of an important piece of data. For each event, it logs the user, the operation type, the object concerned (class + record) and the technical origin (IP / MAC).
| Date⇅ | User⇅ | Type⇅ | Class⇅ | Record | IP address | MAC address | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 04/06/2026 14:32 | Mouadh BEN AZIZA | Edit | Item | 467802 - SMART MODULE | 192.168.1.24 | A4:5E:60:C1:0F:7B | |
| 04/06/2026 11:08 | Salma TRABELSI | Creation | Customer | EL MAZRAA | 192.168.1.31 | D8:9E:F3:22:1A:55 | |
| 03/06/2026 16:45 | Ayatollah ORABI | Deletion | Pricing | June promo grid | 102.107.135.198 | C0:3F:D5:88:9E:01 |
Table columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| Modification date | Exact date and time of the operation. |
| User | First and last name of the action's author. |
| Modification type | Creation, update, or deletion. |
| Class | Type of object concerned (Item, Customer, Pricing…). |
| Selected record | The precise record that was affected. |
| IP address | Network address of the workstation that performed the action. |
| MAC address | Hardware identifier of the terminal (if available). |
The IP and MAC let you trace an action back to a physical workstation — useful in case of a dispute or suspected unauthorized access.
Connection log
The System logins log tracks every session opened on Swifto (back-office, mobile app, register…). It shows the user, the application used, the login date and logout date, and the terminal version. A session that is still open (no end date) is highlighted with a color.
| User⇅ | Application⇅ | Beginning Date⇅ | Ending date⇅ | Version / Terminal⇅ | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| amine.abdelkefi | Back-Office | 04/06/2026 08:12 | — ongoing — | Web · Chrome 124 | |
| mouadh.benaziza | Mobile app | 04/06/2026 07:55 | 04/06/2026 12:40 | Android 13 · v3.2.1 | |
| caisse_lac2 | POS register | 03/06/2026 18:02 | 03/06/2026 22:15 | POS · v2.7.0 |
Table columns
| Column | Description |
|---|---|
| User | Identifier of the account that logged in. |
| Application | Channel used: back-office, mobile, POS register… |
| Start date | Timestamp of the session opening. |
| End date | Timestamp of the logout. Empty & highlighted = session still active. |
| Version / Terminal | Application version and device type. |
The IP address of the connection is also recorded and searchable — handy for spotting a login from an unusual workstation.
Business logs
Beyond activity and logins, Swifto offers logs specialized by domain. They only appear if enabled for your company. Here are the main ones.
Order log (prices & quantities)
Tracks price or quantity changes made while entering an order — with the original value and the new value.
| User | Customer | Article | Date | Order | Nature | Initial | New |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|

| Salma TRABELSI | EL MAZRAA | SUPERVISOR PACK | 03/06/2026 | CMD 1179 | Quantity | 10.000 | 14.000 |
Invoice control log
Summarizes, by customer / salesperson / company / sector, the number of invoices on a given date — to check billing consistency.
| Customer | Vendor | Company | Domain | Date of invoice | Number of invoices |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| SOCIÉTÉ FONDS CLAIR | Mouadh BEN AZIZA | SYMATIQUE | IT | 31/05/2026 | 7 |
| BUFFET CONCEPT | Ayatollah ORABI | SYMATIQUE | Catering | 31/05/2026 | 3 |
User movement log
Tracks the status of mobile terminals for field users: mobile number, email, network type, battery level and reading date.

Other available logs
| Log | What it tracks |
|---|---|
| Sales log | Sales by date, field seller and customer. |
| Public price log | Changes to customer sale prices. |
| Sales rep price log (PDA) | Price changes entered on the sales rep terminal. |
| Company account log | Operations on accounts (label, origin, type, amount). |
| Purchase stock movements | Stock inflows / outflows linked to purchases. |
| Payroll log | History of payroll operations. |
| Asset / vehicle / insurance logs | Tracking of the fleet, contracts and assignments. |
| Production cycle / MO status change | Manufacturing steps and approvals. |
The exact list depends on your subscribed modules and your configuration. If a log does not appear in your menu, it is not enabled for your company.
Filters & search
Each log offers two levels of filtering: a quick filter per column (in the table header) and an advanced search window by period, user and criteria specific to the log.
Advanced search
For large volumes, always start by narrowing the period: display is faster and the export lighter.
Export
The displayed list (after filtering) can be exported for archiving or transmission to an auditor.
PDF export
Generates a printable document of the filtered log, in the chosen language (the "PDF French" menu).
Excel export
Exports the rows to a spreadsheet for analysis (sorting, pivot tables, cross-referencing).
The export reflects the current filter. Remember to apply the right period before exporting, otherwise the file will contain all the visible rows.
Rules, roles & permissions
Immutability — the logs are read-only: no line can be edited or deleted from the interface. This is what gives them their evidentiary value.
Automatic recording — every event is logged by the system the moment it occurs; the user doesn't need to do anything for a trace to be created.
Segregation by company — you only see the logs of your company; data from other accounts stays invisible.
Retention — the logs are kept to allow after-the-fact audit. The retention period depends on the policy defined for your company.
Permissions matrix

Indicative matrix — the actual visibility of each log depends on the profile's privileges and the options enabled for your company.
FAQ & Tips
A log is missing from the menu?
It is probably not enabled for your company, or your profile does not have the right to read it. Contact your administrator.
Can I correct an incorrect line?
No. A log cannot be edited. An incorrect trace still reflects a real action: correct the original data in its module, which will create a new modification line.
Tip — investigating a price change
Cross-reference the Order log (price before/after) with the Connection log (who was logged in at that time) to identify the author with certainty.
Best practice — monthly audit
Every month, export the Modification log filtered on the period, and archive it. You will have an enforceable history even in the event of a purge.
